Pinyin: Fù Jié
On the mamillary line which is 4 cun lateral to the anterior midline. 3 cun above Fushe SP-13, 1.3 cun below Daheng SP-15, on the lateral side of rectus abdominis muscle.
First locate Daheng SP-15 by measuring 4 cun from the umbilicus and on the mamillary line.
Fujie SP-14 is 1.3 cun below SP-15.
Vertically 0.5–1 cun.
Caution: Peritoneum, pregnancy.
Just as its name indicates, Fujie SP-14's main is to remove Qi Stagnation from the abdominal area, especially around the umbilicus. Typical manifestations include periumbilical pain, diarrhoea and dysenteric disorder, abdominal distention, constipation and shan disorder.
It is also able to subdues Rebellious Qi that runs up to the Heart and Lungs, characterized by Heart pain and coughing.
Finally, Fujie SP-14 warms the Lower Burner as well, so as to expel Coldness.
